About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take over the CTO role and work with the Enthusiastic team, part of the Bulkitrade base in the USA.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all development and also be hands on with the development. Manage the development team, guide the architecture and help launch the post-MVP phase.

Your responsibilities

• You will lead our Technology Team, 1 to 5 people (in the first year), responsible for building, planning, and delivering our Tech and Product Roadmaps.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership across technology domains like development, quality, support, architecture, and integration.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, and willingness to work across a range of areas andgrittiness to operate in a start-up environment
• You are the link for every team member’s success, from the start to the end.
• Creative problem-solving on product strategy to identify opportunities to quickly deliver customer value

Your Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver products in a tech startup environment
• You have been/are an experienced software engineer (5+ years), with experience of leading a team of at least 3 other engineers to build software products from scratch and have taken responsibility in each phase during the application lifecycle.
• Confidence in the full stack of web development.
• Experience with developing technology architecture
• Software development best practices, inclusive of Agile
• You are able to translate the product vision of the company to a product roadmap, and then to reality.
• You can write code in one or more programming languages (e.g. Javascript) and frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, jQuery)
• Prefer USA-based candidates (Time zone in Tempe, AZ, USA (GMT-7)

Salary: From £100,000.00 per year
